The story of a photographer
I started off with photography when I was in high school in a small town in Ohio. I learned how to process film in a darkroom and my assignments were sports photography for the local yearbook. I've always had a camera on hand.
In my later years, I shot wildlife photography during my years overseas in Africa. I also lived and worked at a youth village for orphaned teens called, Agahozo-Shalom, where I photographed the students and activities for the non-profit.
Upon moving back to the United States in 2014, I discovered yoga and meditation. This practice profoundly altered the way in which I lived and viewed the world. I had a new lens. As I began my career as a yoga teacher and entrepreneur, I switched from wildlife photography to shooting fellow yoga teachers, brands, and entrepreneurs in the Miami area. I discovered a new found love for photography and helping people share their passion and beauty with the world.
